Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the terms under which Singlemonkey Solutions ("we", "us") offers refunds and processes cancellations. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Free trial

All paid plans begin with a 14-day free trial. During the trial:

  • No payment is required
  • You have full access to trial features
  • You may cancel at any time with no charge

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan will begin and your payment method will be charged.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Log into your dashboard and go to Billing → Cancel Subscription, OR
  • Email us at support@singlemonkey.com with your account email

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to your plan until then. Your data remains available for export for 30 days after cancellation.

3. Refund eligibility

We offer refunds in the following specific cases:

Subscription within 7 days of first purchase, service unused 100% of last payment 5–7 business days
Service outage lasting more than 24 hours in a billing period Pro-rated credit or refund 7–10 business days
Cancellation of annual plan within 30 days of purchase 100% of annual fee minus cost of first month 7–10 business days
Cancellation of monthly plan mid-cycle No refund; access continues until cycle ends —
Account suspended for Terms of Service violation Not eligible —

4. How refunds are processed

  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method (card, bank account, UPI, wallet)
  • Indian customers paying in INR: refunds processed via Razorpay, typically visible in 5–7 business days after approval
  • International customers paying in USD: refunds processed via Stripe or Razorpay, typically visible in 7–10 business days
  • If the original payment method is no longer available (expired card, closed account), we will process the refund via bank transfer after verifying your identity

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email support@singlemonkey.com with:

  • Your account email address
  • The transaction ID or invoice number
  • A brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund

We respond to refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are initiated immediately and reflect in your account per the timelines above.

6. What is NOT refundable

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscriptions used beyond the cooling-off period (7 days for monthly, 30 days for annual)
  • Custom development work already delivered
  • Costs paid to third-party WhatsApp Business providers (MSG91, Gupshup, etc.) — you must approach them directly
  • Charges related to account suspension or termination for ToS violations

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at support@singlemonkey.com. We resolve the vast majority of disputes quickly and directly. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in your account being suspended pending resolution.

8. Currency conversion

Refunds are always issued in the original payment currency. Any exchange rate fluctuations between the payment and refund are the responsibility of the payment network and are not covered by us.
